Blackwing BW 635RG

The Blackwing is the ultimate ultralight sports aircraft. With a top speed of 223 knots (413km/h) it is the fastest and most advanced lightweight craft of its kind.

This project was a joint effort between myself and the talented Russ White for Orbx. Using the CAD drawings supplied by BLACKWING Sweden AB, we brought the plane to life inside of Microsoft Flight Simulator to match the real world counterpart as accurately as possible.

Along with assisting Russ I was responsible for the technical side of the project, including the rigging and animating of all flight surfaces and instruments and the visual effects for the interior and exterior of the craft.
